LAGREIN Alto Adige DOC 2023 - Cantina Tramin

Lagrein is one of the oldest indigenous varieties in Südtirol/Alto Adige. Typically ruby to garnet red in colour, Lagrein boasts a bouquet of violets and blackberries with hints of cherry and earthy notes. It is a full-bodied wine, which on the palate tastes of raspberries, dark cherries, bittersweet chocolate, black liquorice and spices, supported by powerful tannins and a long finish.

Lagrein pairs well with hearty Tyrolean culinary delights and is the perfect partner for game and red meat. Also serve it with English steak or hard or savoury cheeses.
